Terms of use
The terms that govern this website, and where the Kanu Challenge carries rules of its own.
Last updated: 31 August 2026. Effective from the date this version is published on the Website
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Football Dreamz website and its general features. Please read them before using the Website, submitting information, subscribing to communications, registering as a player, or making a contribution to a Football Dreamz campaign.
1. Website, parties and scope
Football Dreamz is a football talent-discovery and media format operated by the Nexar group. The Website is currently accessible at https://footballdreamz.vercel.app/ during the domain migration and is intended to operate at https://football-dreamz.com/ (the "Website"). The canonical Website URL after migration is https://football-dreamz.com/.
For general Website access, the contracting entity is:
Nexar Group AB (publ.)
Swedish company registration number: 556899-2589
Engelbrektsgatan 9-11
114 32 Stockholm
Sweden
Email: info@nexarfootball.com
Nexar Group AB (publ.) is referred to in these Terms as "Nexar", "we", "us" or "our" when it acts as the Website provider.
The Kanu Challenge is a distinct campaign operated for local campaign and payment purposes by:
Nexar Football Development Ltd
Nigerian company registration number: RC8382579
No. 2, Garba Ndama Close, Apo Legislative Quarters, Zone E
Abuja, FCT, Nigeria
It is referred to as the "Campaign Operator" when it acts in connection with the Kanu Challenge.
Nexar Football AB, Swedish company registration number 559205-8019, may provide scouting, production, player-development or related services under separate arrangements. A player or participant relationship with Nexar Football AB is not created merely by using the Website or submitting the contact form.
These Terms apply to the general Website. The dedicated Kanu Challenge Terms and Kanu Challenge Privacy Policy contain the specific rules and privacy information for that campaign. If there is a conflict about a Kanu contribution, refund, campaign selection, campaign funds or campaign disclosures, the dedicated Kanu Challenge Terms control for that issue. These Terms continue to govern general browsing and use of the Website.
2. Acceptance
By accessing or using the Website, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Website or submit information through it.
If you are under 18, you may browse public content with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must submit or authorise any player-related information, consent, image licence, travel arrangement or other binding commitment made on behalf of a minor. Kanu contributions and newsletter subscriptions are intended for adults. We may refuse or remove a submission where the required authority is not clear.
3. What the Website is—and is not
The Website presents Football Dreamz news, films, episodes, football talent-discovery activities, player stories, partner information, campaign information and ways to contact the team. Some pages may describe historic seasons, archived content, intended future releases, public player profiles or activities that are not currently open.
Website content is provided for general information and entertainment. It is not:
- a promise that a player will be selected, signed, invited to a trial, represented, employed or offered a professional contract;
- a promise that a club, academy, partner, broadcaster or sponsor endorses a particular player, campaign or statement;
- legal, financial, tax, immigration, medical or professional football advice;
- an offer to sell securities or an investment recommendation relating to Nexar, Football Dreamz, a partner or a campaign; or
- a guarantee that every listed player, partner, video, event, statistic or programme will remain available or accurate at all times.
We may correct, edit, archive, remove or update content, including public player and partner pages, without notice where reasonably necessary.
4. Player contact and registration
The Website may provide a contact form with topics such as Register as a player, general enquiry, press and partnership. Depending on the topic, the form may ask for information such as:
- name, email address, subject and message;
- for a player enquiry: country, playing position and current club or academy;
- for a press enquiry: outlet and, optionally, deadline; or
- for a partnership enquiry: organisation and, optionally, website.
Submitting the form is an initial enquiry only. It does not create a representation agreement, employment relationship, agency relationship, player contract, trial invitation, selection decision or entitlement to a response. Any scouting, representation, image, travel, safeguarding, commercial or player-development relationship requires a separate written agreement or confirmed arrangement.
Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, detailed medical records, precise home addresses or other highly sensitive information through the general form. We may request additional information later through a safer process when it is genuinely needed.
If you are submitting information about a player, you confirm that you are the player or have the player's and, where applicable, parent's or guardian's authority to do so. We may ask for proof of authority or age before using information about a minor or publishing a player story.
5. Kanu Challenge and campaign contributions
The Kanu Challenge is a separate Football Dreamz campaign. Its campaign page and dedicated terms explain the active campaign period, contribution mechanics, payment flow, fund allocation, refunds, selection rules and disclosures.
The following principles apply to the current Kanu Challenge pilot unless the dedicated Kanu Challenge Terms expressly state a more specific rule:
- A contribution is support for the campaign and is not a purchase of goods, a share, an investment, a loan, a bet, a lottery entry or a payment for a guaranteed personal benefit.
- The campaign is not a lottery, raffle or prize draw. A contributor does not receive a prize or an increased chance of a football opportunity because of the amount contributed.
- All valid contributions count equally for the campaign's supporter or community mechanics, subject to fraud, duplicate-payment, reversal and eligibility checks.
- The current pilot may set a minimum contribution of NGN 2,000 and no maximum, as stated on the campaign page. The amount and payment methods may change only through the dedicated campaign information and terms.
- The Biggest Supporters feature, if active, is a voluntary recognition feature. A supporter may consent to public recognition. Consent is not a condition of contributing, and a contribution may be made anonymously or without a public amount.
- A contribution does not itself select a player or guarantee a trial, signing, contract, broadcast appearance, travel, academy place or other outcome. Any talent benefit is determined through the stated Football Dreamz process and applicable eligibility and safeguarding requirements.
- Contributions are processed for the Campaign Operator through the payment provider displayed at checkout, currently Paystack where available. The payment provider's terms, privacy notice and fraud checks also apply.
The Campaign Operator may pause, reject, reverse or investigate a contribution where required by law, payment-provider rules, sanctions screening, fraud controls, chargeback handling, an invalid payment, a technical error or the dedicated campaign terms.
6. Newsletter and other communications
The footer may include an optional newsletter sign-up. When the list is active and a visitor submits an email address with the required consent, the address may be used to send Football Dreamz news, releases, campaign updates, scouting or programme announcements and related information.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in a newsletter or by contacting info@nexarfootball.com. Unsubscribing from marketing messages does not necessarily stop operational or legally required communications.
A contact-form submission or newsletter sign-up does not guarantee a reply, selection, publication, inclusion in a campaign, or continued availability of the service. Where a form is displayed before its receiving system is connected, the interface may validate the entry without transmitting or storing it; the applicable privacy handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Your submissions and user content
You remain responsible for information, text, photographs, videos, documents or other material you submit to us ("User Content").
By submitting User Content, you confirm that:
- it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and not misleading;
- you have the rights and authority needed to submit it and to grant the permissions below;
- it does not infringe another person's privacy, confidentiality, copyright, trademark, image rights or other rights;
- it does not contain malware, unlawful material, harassment, hate speech, exploitation, sexual content involving a minor, threats or fraudulent claims; and
- where it concerns a minor, you have the required parent or legal guardian authority.
You grant Nexar and relevant Football Dreamz group companies a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, format, translate, edit, review and use User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, evaluate, communicate about, promote or document Football Dreamz and the relevant enquiry or campaign. This licence lasts for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and does not transfer ownership of your underlying rights.
For a player's image, name, story, match footage or biographical information, any broader public or commercial use may be governed by a separate release, player agreement or guardian consent. We do not treat a general contact-form submission as unlimited consent to publish a minor's information.
We may decline, moderate, restrict or delete User Content. We are not required to monitor every submission, but we may review material for safety, legality, fraud, safeguarding and compliance.
8. Intellectual property
The Website and its content—including the Football Dreamz name and format, text, graphics, logos, video, audio, design, software, player-story presentation and compilation—are owned by or licensed to Nexar, its group companies, contributors or partners and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive right to access and view the Website for personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to public pages, but you may not:
- copy, scrape, reproduce, sell, licence, republish, broadcast, frame or commercially exploit Website content without written permission;
- remove copyright, trademark or other notices;
- use the Football Dreamz or Nexar name, logos, player images or partner marks to imply sponsorship or endorsement; or
- use automated systems to collect player, contributor, contact or campaign data except with our written permission or as allowed by law.
Third-party names and marks—including club, broadcaster, sponsor, academy and platform marks—belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on the Website does not by itself establish an endorsement, agency relationship or current commercial partnership.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use the Website to:
- break the law or evade sanctions, payment controls or safeguarding requirements;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your age, identity, authority, club, academy or organisation;
- submit another person's personal information without a lawful basis or authority;
- manipulate supporter counts, rankings, campaign activity, forms, analytics or payment flows;
- probe, scan, disrupt or compromise the Website, Cookiebot, payment provider, email systems or another user's account;
- upload malicious code, spam, unauthorised advertising or unlawful material; or
- exploit, groom, contact or endanger a child or vulnerable person.
We may block access, remove submissions, cancel or reverse activity, and refer suspected unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities.
10. Third-party services and links
The Website may use or link to third-party services, including Cookiebot/Usercentrics, YouTube, payment services such as Paystack, hosting, email, form, analytics and social-media platforms. Those services may have their own terms, privacy notices and cookies. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, processing or decisions.
Third-party services that are not strictly necessary should load only after the consent required by applicable law has been obtained. Details of the current Cookiebot configuration and storage used by the Website are in the Cookie Policy.
11. Privacy
Personal data is handled as described in the Football Dreamz Privacy Policy. Kanu Challenge contribution and campaign processing is also described in the Kanu Challenge Privacy Policy.
You should not submit personal data that is unnecessary for your enquiry. We may share information with group companies, professional advisers, hosting and communication providers, scouts, clubs, academies, partners, payment providers, regulators and authorities where described in the applicable privacy notice or required by law.
12. Availability and disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. We do not warrant that the Website or any content will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current, secure, compatible with every device or free of harmful code.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any page, feature, form, newsletter, video, campaign link or other part of the Website. We are not responsible for loss caused by a user's reliance on an outdated page, an external service, an unauthorised submission or a failure to maintain contact details.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nexar, its group companies, officers, employees, contractors, contributors and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, reputation, data or anticipated benefit arising from or connected with the Website, User Content, a third-party service, a campaign or a player enquiry.
For a general Website claim, Nexar's total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of SEK 1,000 or the amount you paid directly to Nexar for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the six months before the event. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited.
The Kanu Challenge has any additional campaign-specific refund, payment and liability rules stated in its dedicated Terms. Nothing in this section removes rights that apply mandatorily to a consumer or contributor under applicable law.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Nexar and its group companies for reasonable losses, claims, costs and expenses arising from your material breach of these Terms, unlawful use of the Website, fraud, or User Content that infringes another person's rights or causes harm. This does not apply to the extent the loss was caused by Nexar's own wilful misconduct or negligence.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Website, remove User Content, disable a form or stop communications where reasonably necessary for security, safeguarding, legal compliance, maintenance, fraud prevention or a breach of these Terms.
Sections concerning intellectual property, User Content licences, privacy, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, dispute resolution and general provisions survive termination to the extent their nature requires.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Website, campaigns, law, service providers or group structure changes. The current version will be posted on the Website with its "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects an active contribution or an existing contractual relationship, we will use reasonable means to communicate it and will not apply it retroactively where prohibited by law.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and general Website use are governed by the laws of Sweden, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply where you live.
The courts of Sweden have jurisdiction over disputes relating to general Website use, subject to any mandatory right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so that we can try to resolve the issue.
Kanu Challenge contributions and campaign-specific disputes are governed by the dedicated Kanu Challenge Terms and any mandatory law applicable to the Campaign Operator or the transaction.
18. General provisions
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be adjusted to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer these Terms as part of a group reorganisation, sale, financing or transfer of the relevant Website operation, provided your mandatory rights are preserved.
These Terms, together with the documents expressly incorporated by reference, form the agreement between you and the applicable entity for the matters they cover. No third party has rights under these Terms unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Schedule 1 — Kanu Challenge summary
This schedule is an overview only. The dedicated Kanu Challenge Terms control if there is any inconsistency.
1. Campaign operator
The Kanu Challenge campaign is operated for campaign and payment purposes by Nexar Football Development Ltd, Nigerian company registration number RC8382579, No. 2, Garba Ndama Close, Apo Legislative Quarters, Zone E, Abuja, FCT, Nigeria.
2. Campaign purpose
The campaign supports Football Dreamz football scouting, academy development, production and related talent-development activities described on the campaign page. The campaign page may explain the current allocation of funds and reporting approach.
3. Contribution status
Contributions support the campaign. They do not buy equity, a financial return, a product, a guaranteed football opportunity or a prize. Contributions do not create a donor, employment, agency, scouting or player-representation relationship beyond the campaign mechanics.
4. Payment
The checkout provider displayed on the campaign page is currently Paystack where available. The Campaign Operator may receive payment settlement details, while payment-card credentials and payment-security data are handled by the payment provider under its own terms and privacy notice.
5. Equal supporter mechanics
The campaign is not a lottery or raffle. A valid contribution does not increase a contributor's chance of being selected or receiving a football opportunity. The current pilot contribution minimum is NGN 2,000, with no maximum, unless the campaign page states otherwise.
6. Supporter recognition
If the campaign displays a Biggest Supporters or similar recognition list, participation is voluntary. A supporter may consent to public recognition without showing the amount. A contributor can choose not to be identified publicly, and the choice does not affect campaign participation or player selection.
7. Talent selection
Any participant or player benefit is determined through Football Dreamz's stated selection process, including jury or professional review, eligibility, safeguarding, availability and other practical checks. A contribution does not select a player and does not guarantee a contract, trial, visa, travel, accommodation, broadcast appearance or signing.
8. Campaign changes
The Campaign Operator may change, pause or end the campaign where required for law, payment compliance, safeguarding, fraud prevention, operational feasibility or force majeure. Material changes and any applicable refund route will be communicated through the campaign page or the contact route stated in the dedicated Kanu Challenge Terms.
9. Campaign privacy
The processing of contributor, supporter-recognition and campaign data is described in the Kanu Challenge Privacy Policy. The general Website Privacy Policy applies to general browsing and any separate root-site enquiry.
10. No reliance on summary
The campaign page and dedicated Kanu Challenge Terms should be read before contributing. This schedule is not a substitute for those documents.
