Scouting programme and matches in Abuja

The Abuja programme moved from assessment into matches. Drills say what a player can do; a match says what he does when nobody is telling him, and a format looking for television as well as football needs the answer to both.

It followed the evaluation held the day before, and the selections were announced the day after. Three consecutive days in one city is a scouting run rather than a scouting day, and this record keeps them apart because they asked different questions.
