A well organised scouting programme in Abuja ended with two players signed by Nexar Football Agency. A signature is the point at which a name on a shortlist becomes somebody with representation, which is most of what stands between a talented teenager and a trial on another continent.
It was the second Abuja programme inside a month, after one at the start of December. Going back to a city so soon is not repetition: the players who were too young in the summer are old enough by the winter, and the ones who were missed are still there.
